Hi!
When I drag additional recordings into the timeline (sound and picture) Screenflow creates two new tracks above the ones that are there. I only want one video track and one audio track. Is there a way to delete the empty new tracks? Morten |

Aah just found the solution - I just have to drag my tracks to the upper tracks and the others disappear :-) Thank you to me for the help ;-)

But don't you have to "you're welcome" you too?

Self appreciation is a very good thing now and then. It sounds like something I read in a self help book I think.

Of course, the real question should be how do I stop SF creating the extra two tracks everytime I drag some media into the timeline - drives me to distraction! Any way to switch that off?

It is a bother. Others have asked for this and I'll add your request to the list.

Add another vote. :-)
It's not critical, but it is a repeated annoyance. |

One extra for the track you want to remove?

Is there a way to delete these 'phantom tracks'? I did a 30 minute video last night with multiple audio and video tracks and had 4 phantom tracks. After moving all my tracks/sections to the top (using a huge Select/Drag/Drop), I added another audio track and they all got shifted down again. Argh!!! Just deleting them would be much easier than trying to move multiple sections around.

No way to delete phantom tracks yet but there's lots of folks who want this to rank high on the coder's "to do" list.

A good way to implement multiple tracks might be to have a menu option that lets you add new tracks like Excel adds new rows ("Add track to top" and "Add track to bottom"). I say add to bottom, b/c I would prefer having the main video always on the top track and the background/non-critical audio tracks would be at the bottom out of the way. Others may prefer top. If the user doesn't add new tracks, then dragging and dropping will always put them on the existing track.

Thanks for that description. The coders like to hear about suggested implementation and use when people make feature requests. I've added that to the wish list.
